Chelsea's captain, Reece James, will be sidelined for Saturday’s match against Leicester City due to a hamstring injury.
The Club's Manager, Enzo Maresca, disclosed this ahead of their trip to the King Power Stadium.
Maresca said James felt something was off, and they prefer not to take any risks but he is hopeful that the issue won’t keep him out for an extended period.
James has struggled with injuries over the past two seasons, but Maresca is confident that he can eventually overcome these challenges.
The club's captain had only recently made his return in October after missing the start of the season.
There are a number of other players in the club currently dealing with injuries, including Cole Palmer, Levi Colwill, Romeo Lavia, Malo Gusto, Wesley Fofana, and Jadon Sancho.
