BMW’s electric i7 is getting a fresh face for the 2027 model year, and the first versions to arrive will be the i750 and i760. Both use a dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain, with the i750 rated at 449 horsepower and the i760 delivering 536 horsepower.
The company says the i760 can travel around 350 miles on a full charge with its 113-kWh battery, while the i750 will start at $107,750 and the i760 at $126,250. Both 2027 i7 models are set to go on sale in the second half of the year.
The update is more than a trim-level shuffle. BMW altered the i7’s face for the 2027 model year and restyled the taillights, while keeping the luxury sedan’s proportions essentially the same. That leaves the car looking newer at the ends without changing the large-sedan silhouette that has defined it since launch.
The timing matters because BMW is pushing the refreshed electric flagship into showrooms just as buyers are weighing range, price and luxury equipment in the upper end of the battery-powered market. The i760’s estimated 350-mile range gives it a clear headline number, but the starting prices also place both versions squarely in premium territory.
What BMW has not changed is the basic formula: a big electric sedan with dual motors, all-wheel drive and a higher-end cabin presence aimed at buyers who want the brand’s largest EV without giving up the traditional 7 Series scale. The question now is how quickly those buyers respond once the updated i7 reaches dealers later this year.
