The document claimed Okon Winnifred Sampson scored 394 out of 400 in the 2026 UTME, while another report said the same slip showed 396.
JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin said the result slip was “entirely fake,” adding that the board’s results are currently view-only and not meant for circulation in printed or shared templates. He said the document used a fabricated result template and contained a registration number pattern, “20269,” that does not match JAMB’s system-generated format.
Benjamin’s statement is the clearest sign yet that the viral document has no official standing. The board urged the public to disregard the slip and rely only on official communication channels for authentic examination results.
The claim spread quickly because it carried a score that would stand out in any exam cycle, but JAMB said the details themselves give the game away. A registration number that does not fit the system, a template the board says it does not use, and a result format that is not available for sharing all point in the same direction: the slip is counterfeit.
That leaves the candidate named online, Okon Winnifred Sampson, caught in a false document that continued circulating even after JAMB spoke. The board has now answered the central question raised by the viral post — the Jamb Utme Fake Result is not genuine, and anyone checking results should look only to JAMB’s official channels.
