The 19th Beijing Auto Show runs April 24–May 3 with 1,451 vehicles across 380,000 sqm, 181 premieres, 71 concepts and hundreds of companies focused on electric vehicles.

The 19th International Automotive Exhibition opens April 24 and runs through May 3 with 1,451 vehicles on display (vehicles on display) across a 380,000 sqm exhibition area (total exhibition area) centered on electric vehicles.

Hundreds of thousands of people, tens of thousands of journalists and KOLs, and hundreds of companies from close to two dozen countries will attend, making the event a concentrated venue for product launches and industry deals.

Organizers scheduled 181 global and China premieres (premiere vehicles) and 71 concepts (concept vehicles), and they expect 212 press conferences over the first two press days along with more than 30 industry forums, so journalists should plan press schedules around the packed conference run and attendees should prioritize which premieres and forums to see.

1,451 Vehicles on Display

The show will occupy the new next to the in and the event has been held biannually in Shunyi since 2008, so returning visitors should allow extra time to navigate the expanded venue and exhibitors and buyers should set exact meeting points because hundreds of companies from close to two dozen countries will be spread across the site.

The exhibition highlights large, full-size, three-row, six-seater electric SUVs (three-row, six-seater electric SUVs), a segment where the ES8 has led sales for 4 months in a row and is about to hit 100,000 deliveries in just 7 months while NIO seeks full-year profitability in 2026 following Q4 2025, yet competition has intensified because Shangjie, Aistaland, Yijing, Huajing, Freelander and Linghui did not exist two years ago and four of those names are Huawei-affiliated brands from , , and SAIC-GM-Wuling, respectively, which raises pressure on pricing and market share for established SUV makers.
