Big Brother Naija opened auditions for its 11th season on Saturday, announcing online registration from May 16 to 20 and physical auditions scheduled for May 22 to 24 in Lagos, Abuja and Enugu. Applicants must register via africamagic.tv/bigbrother, fill in personal details and select preferred audition dates, locations and times.
The process is free and limited: only persons aged 21 and above with valid identification documents are eligible, and the registration portal will close once capacity is reached. The organisers warned that multiple registrations could lead to disqualification, and that by submitting entries participants grant the organisers permission to use audition materials in perpetuity and across global platforms.
The scale and schedule matter because the window is short and the physical screenings follow immediately. Physical auditions in three cities over three days will funnel hopefuls into a contest that, last season, featured 29 housemates competing for a ₦150 million grand prize. Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, won Season 10 on October 5, 2025 with 42.8 per cent of the vote, defeating 28 other housemates to claim the prize.
The organisers’ announcement follows the tenth edition’s return to screens earlier this year. Season 10 returned to television on July 26, 2025 and, according to organisers, restored physical auditions after six years of holding the process virtually; this new schedule continues that shift back to in-person casting.
There is a practical tension baked into the rules. A short online registration window followed two days later by physical auditions leaves little room for latecomers, and the capacity‑limited portal means many interested applicants could be shut out before May 20. At the same time, the clause granting the show perpetual, global rights to audition material is absolute — an all-or-nothing condition applicants accept simply by submitting their entries.
